This difficult-to-cultivate tree is nurtured and cared for from the very beginning of its growth and then released into a wild plantation where nature takes its course. In this rugged, untouched natural landscape, each tree continues to grow and fights for survival. It can live up to 100 years and reach a height of 12 meters. All of this is necessary to develop, year after year, the unique fragrance properties required to obtain Sauvage's rare, powerful, and rich sandalwood essence.
